Abstract: The present price of titanium dioxide is high, and study on titanium composite pigment at home is still in its infancy. Titanium dioxide has many advantages, but people have to consider other products replacing titanium dioxide because of its expensive price. In order to save the expensive titanium dioxide and reduce costs, people have long been actively researched and developed and used cost-effective body pigment replacing titanium dioxide. It is imperative to research new product partly replacing titanium dioxide. Because calcium sulfate has good whiteness and gelling property, it can partially replace titanium dioxide in the white rubber, maximum substitution is 20% of titanium dioxide.
Key words: anhydrous calcium sulfate; replacement; titanium dioxide.
