Abstract: The use of calcium sulfate food includes nutrient agents, yeast activators, dough property modifiers, curing agents, chelating agents, gelling agents, baking powders, carriers, fillers, pH adjusters, abrasives. In these applications, it is mainly used in baked goods. As a curing agent, it is used in canned potatoes, tomatoes, carrots, beans and pepper.
